Leveling The Playing Field
We are a viable alternative to the pay-to-play model. Talent, character, and discipline should be the only requirements to compete.
The Traditional Track
Elite path structures routinely drain thousands of dollars annually per child from local households. This dynamic boxes out incredibly gifted local athletes, stresses families, and demands early, singular specialization.
The Warrior Approach
High-caliber professional coaching, specialized technical focus, and premium tournament entries provided at $0 financial cost. We balance training with family schedules, serving competitive configurations alongside our exploratory Lil Warriors (ages 4-6) foundation.
Built-In Graduate Offramps
We purposefully build elite capabilities up to U12. Because we are dedicated to development rather than keeping kids trapped inside an organizational structure forever, we actively transition our older players into the region's elite club networks via direct, personal partnerships with their Executive Directors:

Is 703 Warriors really 100% free?
Yes. All training sessions, tournaments, uniforms, and community events are provided at no cost to families. Our programs are made possible through community partners, grants, sponsors, and individual donations. In return, we ask families to respect the opportunity by showing up, working hard, supporting teammates, and maintaining a positive attitude.
Is this recreational soccer?
No. 703 Warriors is a competitive player development program focused on improving technical ability, soccer IQ, teamwork, and character. While we welcome players at different experience levels, every player is expected to come ready to learn, compete, and improve every session.
Does my child need to have soccer experience?
No. We welcome players who are new to soccer as well as experienced players looking for additional development. Our coaches create an environment where every player can grow while being challenged at the appropriate level.
What ages do you serve?
We serve boys and girls ages 5–12 through age-appropriate programming. Younger players can begin with Lil Warriors, while older players participate in structured technical training and competitive opportunities.
How often do players train?
Our schedule varies throughout the year, but many players train multiple times per week. We believe consistent practice is important for development while still allowing children to participate in other sports and activities.
Do you play in travel soccer leagues?
We intentionally do not participate in fixed weekly travel leagues. Instead, we focus on high-quality training, competitive games, and tournaments. This allows families flexibility while giving players opportunities to compete and develop.
What commitment is expected from players and families?
Because this is a community-funded opportunity, we ask families to take it seriously. Players should arrive ready to learn, encourage teammates, and give their best effort. A positive attitude, respect, and consistent attendance are essential to maintaining our culture.
Where do you train?
We train at community locations throughout Arlington, Virginia, including local schools, parks, and partner facilities. Training locations and schedules are updated regularly on our website.
What happens after players age out at U12?
We view 703 Warriors as a development pathway that prepares players for their next stage of soccer. Our goal is to help every player grow in confidence, technical ability, soccer IQ, and character so they are ready for their next opportunity. We maintain trusted relationships with competitive soccer organizations throughout Northern Virginia, including Arlington Soccer, Alexandria Soccer, Villarreal Virginia Academy, and Potomac Soccer, to help families identify the right fit when players are ready to move on. More than 19 players have already progressed into new competitive environments after their time with 703 Warriors.
How can families support 703 Warriors?
Our program exists because of community support. Families can help by volunteering, spreading the word, supporting teammates, and contributing their time or resources when possible.
